Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.’s subsidiary Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with the National Engineering Research Center of Ultrafine Powder
Recently, the signing ceremony for strategic cooperation and project exchange meeting between Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd. and the National Engineering Research Center of Ultrafine Powder was successfully held. The two sides had in-depth discussions on strategic cooperation, key project alignment and future collaboration directions, followed by the signing ceremony of the Strategic Cooperation Agreement. Cheng Ao, General Manager of the National Engineering Research Center of Ultrafine Powder, and Su Linqiang, General Manager of Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd., signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

During the project exchange session, the National Engineering Research Center of Ultrafine Powder put forward preliminary intentions for cooperation in multiple areas, and the two sides conducted pragmatic consultations. First, Cheng Ao exchanged views on the cooperation of the Hubei Changyang Project. He stated that the first tranche of funds for the Changyang Project had been in place by the end of September, and the project was about to enter the launch phase. He hoped that both sides would take this opportunity to deepen cooperation and push forward relevant work in an orderly manner.
In the field of calcium-based materials, the two sides aligned on the Hubei Wuxue Guoding Project, covering high-specific-surface-area calcium carbonate, polymer composite calcium, high-activity calcium hydroxide and other areas. They also discussed the feasibility of cooperation on hydrothermal calcium silicate, and exchanged opinions on project feasibility studies and related work.
In the field of solid & hazardous waste recycling and building wall panels, Li Peng introduced the research directions of his team. The team has long been engaged in the R&D of thermal insulation rock wool products for building materials, with 16 years of technical accumulation, focusing on fiber performance, manufacturing processes and the application of supporting materials. Currently, the team is focusing on the resource utilization of solid and hazardous waste such as red mud, as well as relevant technologies for manufacturing building wall panels via the flow-on process with inorganic fibers as the main raw material. The two sides discussed the feasibility and future prospects of in-depth cooperation with Wuhan Building Material Industry Design & Research Institute Co., Ltd.
Both sides agreed that this strategic cooperation signing and project exchange have laid a solid foundation for follow-up cooperation. Going forward, the two parties will give full play to their respective strengths in technology R&D, engineering transformation, industrial resources and market application. Centering on calcium-based materials, solid waste recycling, green building materials, inorganic fibers and building wall panels, they will promote the deep integration of innovation and industrial chains and accelerate the industrial translation of scientific and technological achievements from the laboratory.
The two sides will also establish a regular communication and coordination mechanism to refine cooperation plans for the Changyang Project, calcium-based materials, red mud resource utilization, inorganic-fiber building wall panels and other areas, clarify progress milestones, facilitate the early implementation and delivery of cooperative projects, and jointly contribute to the green, low-carbon and high-quality development of the building materials industry.
