From August 27 to 30, Meng Qinglin, Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd., accompanied Wang Yumeng, Deputy General Manager of China National Building Material Group Co., Ltd., and his entourage on an investigation tour in Uzbekistan. The group conducted on‑site inspection and guidance at the Uzbekistan Navoiyazot Green Energy and Low Carbon Project of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. During their stay in Uzbekistan, the delegation paid courtesy calls on Uzkimyosanoat JSC, Navoiyazot JSC and other relevant enterprises to further promote inter‑enterprise communication and international cooperation, and signed relevant cooperation agreements. Zha Jinxiang, General Manager of the Group’s Strategic Development Department (International Cooperation Department); Zuo Dayong, Vice President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. and Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation International Investment Co., Ltd.; He Xiaolong, Vice President of Sinoma International Engineering Co., Ltd.; and Wu Xiao, Deputy General Manager of the Group’s Safety and Environmental Protection Department, accompanied the investigation.

 

Investigation and Safety Inspection of the Uzbekistan Navoiyazot Green Energy and Low Carbon Project of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd.

 


Wang Yumeng and his entourage conducted an on‑site investigation at the Uzbekistan Navoiyazot Green Energy and Low Carbon Project of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. They carried out work safety inspections on key areas including the photovoltaic plant area, step‑up substation and comprehensive building. The delegation learned in detail about on‑site safety management, implementation of operating procedures, safety protection and configuration of fire‑fighting facilities, and comprehensively examined the implementation of project safety measures.

 

Wang Yumeng listened to the work report delivered by the project company of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. on the overall project investment and construction as well as the overseas safety management of the EPC contractor. He affirmed the phased achievements made in the project’s safety management. Taking into account the actual characteristics of overseas projects, he put forward four requirements for the work in the next phase. First, fully implement responsibilities of all parties to ensure the orderly progress of project construction as scheduled. Second, allocate professional resources, strengthen control over key links, and fully guarantee the safety of project grid‑connected power generation. Third, systematically review and summarize practical experience in project investment, construction and construction management, and draw replicable and promotable experience and outcomes. Fourth, continuously strengthen on‑site safety and environmental protection management of the project.

 

Signing of Memoranda of Understanding with Key Uzbek Enterprises to Explore New Space for Industrial Synergy


 

Wang Yumeng and his entourage visited Uzkimyosanoat JSC and Navoiyazot JSC successively, and held business negotiations focusing on enterprises’ green and low‑carbon development, energy conservation and carbon reduction in the chemical sector, and cooperation on relevant projects.

 

Witnessed by the leaders, Zuo Dayong signed respectively with Uzkimyosanoat JSC and Navoiyazot JSC the agreement for the construction project of a 1,000‑ton‑per‑day nitric acid production line and the agreement for the construction project of a 1,500‑ton wastewater treatment plant. This series of signings will further consolidate the partnership between the enterprises, continuously expand the breadth and depth of cooperation, and inject strong impetus into Uzbekistan’s green and low‑carbon transition and high‑quality development.


During the investigation, Wang Yumeng and his entourage also held meetings with Yu Jun, Chinese Ambassador to Uzbekistan, and the Uzbekistan regional person‑in‑charge of China Huaneng Group Co., Ltd., to further build multi‑party consensus.


At the work briefing of the Group’s local enterprises in Uzbekistan, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. gave a systematic introduction to the progress of its business in Uzbekistan, achievements in key project construction, market development results and future development plans. Going forward, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. will thoroughly implement the Group’s strategic deployment of “Overseas Re‑development”, continue to give play to its advantages in green and low‑carbon technologies and engineering services, and contribute more to deepening China‑Uzbekistan economic and trade cooperation and advancing the high‑quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.
