Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. Signs Biomass Power Plant Installation Contract

On January 26th, 2026, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. signed a biomass power plant installation contract for the STS cement plant, owned by Thai Cement Energy Co., Ltd., at the SCG Group headquarters in Bangkok, Thailand.

 

The project aims to reduce carbon emissions and enhance energy utilization efficiency by using biomass fuel to replace traditional energy sources. Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. will be responsible for the project's design, procurement, installation, and commissioning services. By employing advanced biomass power generation technology, the company will assist the client in achieving green, low-carbon development and comprehensive energy utilization.

 

Following the contract signing, Wang Yi, Assistant to the President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. and General Manager of the Engineering Branch, was specially delegated by Meng Qinglin, Chairman of the Board, and Liu Xin, President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. , to pay a dedicated visit to Chalerm Pun-ananit, Director of Green Industrial Solutions at SCG Group's Eco Factory Service Company.

 

Wang Yi conveyed New Year greetings and gratitude from Chairman Meng Qinglin and President Liu Xin to Chalerm Pun-ananit. He stated that Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. would fully leverage the brand, resource, and experience advantages of the CNBM in its "Going Global" development strategy. The company is committed to dedicating all efforts to ensure the successful execution of this project, providing strong support and guarantees for its smooth construction.

 


Chalerm Pun-ananit expressed his gratitude for the greetings from Chairman Meng Qinglin and President Liu Xin. He highlighted that this collaboration represents another pioneering partnership between Thailand's SCG Cement Group and Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. in the field of biomass power generation. This follows their previous cooperation on waste heat power generation projects for five cement companies (STS, STL, SLP in Thailand, and VCM & SG in Vietnam) and the IWPP waste-to-energy power plant project in Thailand. He thanked Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd. for its strong support and cooperation with Thailand's SCG Cement Group over the past nearly two decades and expressed hope for further comprehensive and multi-faceted collaboration between the two parties to achieve new accomplishments in green and high-quality development.
