Meng Qinglin Accompanies Group Chairman Zhou Yuxian in Meeting with President of Uzbekistan


On September 2nd, Meng Qinglin, Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, accompanied Zhou Yuxian, Chairman of China National Building Material Group, in Beijing to meet with a delegation led by Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, who was in China for the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit and activities commemorating the 80th anniversary of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on the deep alignment between the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative and the "Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy," covering comprehensive cooperation in areas such as new material industry investment, clean energy project investment and construction, and engineering technical services.


 

Zhou Yuxian stated that, as a non-metallic material manufacturer and capital investment company, China National Building Material Group will further leverage its systematic advantages in new materials, clean energy (including wind, solar, and storage), and engineering technical services. The Group will continue to strengthen strategic planning and resource allocation, deepen pragmatic cooperation with Uzbekistan, and contribute to Uzbekistan's green, low-carbon energy transition and sustainable development.


President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev emphasized Uzbekistan's high regard for the comprehensive strategic partnership in the new era between Uzbekistan and China and its firm support for the Belt and Road Initiative. He noted that Uzbekistan is currently advancing the "Uzbekistan 2030 Strategy," which presents significant opportunities for cooperation in areas such as modernizing the building materials industry, developing new energy, and improving the quality and efficiency of infrastructure. He expressed hope to strengthen strategic alignment with the Group, deepen cooperation in key areas, and elevate bilateral economic and trade relations to a higher level.


Meng Qinglin stated that, as an important member of the Group, Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited will closely follow the Group's strategic deployments. Building on the Group's existing investments and industrial cooperation scale in Uzbekistan, which exceeds USD 20 billion, Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited will fully leverage its technical expertise and resource integration capabilities in the energy sector. Meng Qinglin Meets with Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan


On August 29th, Meng Qinglin met with Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China. Both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on further advancing cooperation in areas such as clean energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection. Ilzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan, and Zuo Dayong, Vice President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, accompanied and participated in the talks.



Meng Qinglin extended a warm welcome to Deputy Prime Minister Khodjaev for his visit to China, expressed sincere gratitude for the long-term support from the Uzbek government, and provided a detailed overview of the progress and business expansion of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited's projects in Uzbekistan. He stated that the company will continue to deepen its involvement in the development and construction of major projects in Uzbekistan in areas such as clean energy, energy conservation, and environmental protection. On August 31st, Meng Qinglin met in Beijing with a delegation led by Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov, Minister of Energy of Uzbekistan. Both sides engaged in in-depth and friendly discussions on strengthening cooperation in areas such as clean energy, energy conservation, and emission reduction, and signed cooperation agreements for new projects. Zuo Dayong, Vice President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, accompanied and participated in the talks.


 

 

Meng Qinglin first expressed sincere gratitude for the long-term support from the Ministry of Energy of Uzbekistan and then provided a detailed introduction to the execution progress and business operations of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited's projects in Uzbekistan. He stated that the company will adhere to a goal-oriented approach, closely monitor key aspects, and diligently conduct preliminary research and planning for newly signed projects to ensure their high-quality and efficient implementation. Jurabek Mirzamakhmudov spoke highly of the Navoi Nitrogen Fertilizer Plant Green and Low-Carbon Project invested in and constructed by Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited in Uzbekistan and congratulated the signing of the new project agreements. He stated that Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited has demonstrated exceptional professional capabilities and execution efficiency in project implementation, for which Uzbekistan expresses high appreciation. Liu Xin Attends Myanmar-China Economic Cooperation Promotion Exchange Meeting


On August 31st, the Myanmar-China Economic Cooperation Promotion Exchange Meeting was grandly held in Tianjin. Liu Xin, President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, attended upon invitation and delivered a speech as a corporate representative, injecting new momentum into China-Myanmar energy cooperation and economic mutual benefit.
