Meng Qinglin Meets with Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan
On August 6th, Meng Qinglin, Chairman of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited, and Chen Yu, President of Sinoma Science & Technology Co., Ltd., jointly met with Jamshid Khodjaev, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan, in Tianjin. The two sides held friendly discussions on deepening cooperation in multiple business areas and jointly building a green and low-carbon industry chain. Also attending the meeting were H.E. Mr. Farhod Arziev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to China; Zuo Dayong, Vice President of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited; and Wang Xin, Vice President of Sinoma Science & Technology Co., Ltd.

During the meeting, Meng Qinglin introduced the basic profile of China National Building Material Group and its business overview in Uzbekistan to Jamshid Khodjaev. He elaborated on the core business of Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited and the progress of its current projects in Uzbekistan, providing a detailed explanation of the company's strategic direction for future development in the country. Meng Qinglin expressed sincere gratitude for the long-term strong support provided by the Government of Uzbekistan to Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited. He emphasized that Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited will deeply engage in the development and construction of projects in areas such as clean energy, energy conservation and environmental protection, and new materials in Uzbekistan, continuously driving new progress in bilateral cooperation between China and Uzbekistan, and contributing to the friendly relations between the two countries as well as Uzbekistan's energy transition and economic development. Chen Yu provided an update on the progress of Sinoma Science & Technology Co., Ltd.'s cooperative projects in Uzbekistan, stating the company's commitment to providing technical support and solutions for building a complete new energy industry chain in Uzbekistan, thereby assisting the country in optimizing its energy structure and achieving industrial upgrading.

Jamshid Khodjaev spoke highly of the comprehensive strength of China National Building Material Group and fully affirmed the key projects currently being implemented in Uzbekistan by China National Building Material Group and Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited. He expressed hope that Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited would continue leveraging its technological and industrial advantages in areas such as clean energy, energy conservation and environmental protection engineering, and new materials. He encouraged active exploration of flexible cooperation models with the Government and enterprises of Uzbekistan, as well as active participation in and contribution to Uzbekistan's energy transition and economic development.
The meeting was also attended by senior officials including IIzat Kasimov, Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan; Umid Madaminov, Deputy Minister of Energy; Akbar Gulbanov, Vice Chairman of the Chemical Industry Group; and Ilios Rakhimov, Chairman of the Industrial and Building Materials Association. Representatives from Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited International Investment Co., Ltd. included Pei Chao, Deputy Director of the Central Asia Business Department.
