Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited's Overseas Projects in Vietnam
President Xi Jinping recently paid a state visit to Vietnam, discussed cooperation with Vietnamese leaders, and jointly drew a new blueprint for China-Vietnam community of destiny in the new era.
In recent years, Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited has been actively practicing the initiative of “One Belt, One Road”, deeply implementing the Group's strategy of “Overseas Re-engineering”, and taking new steps in internationalization, and creating a series of representative overseas waste heat power generation projects, which injected strong impetus to the local green transformation and sustainable development. It has created a series of representative overseas waste heat power generation projects, injecting strong momentum for the green transformation and sustainable development of the local communities.
Holcim Cement Group Vietnam HON CHONG Cement Company Waste Heat Power Generation Project

This project is a waste heat power generation project for a 4500T/D cement production line of Hon Chong Cement Company of HOLCIM Group in Vietnam, with an installed capacity of 7.5MW, which is the third successful cooperation between Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited and HOLCIM Cement Group after the waste heat power generation project of SIAM CITY Cement Company in Thailand and the waste heat power generation project of ACC Cement Company in India. Since the project has been connected to the grid, it can realize 51.25 million kWh of power supply for cement production per year, saving about 18,000 tons of standard coal, which is equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emission by about 42,000 tons. The project can reduce the power consumption of dust collection and fan devices in cement production units, reduce the dust emission of tail gas of cement production, realize both economic and social benefits, and contribute to the cause of energy saving and emission reduction in Vietnam.
SG Cement Plant and VCM Cement Plant, Vietnam Low Temperature Waste Heat Power Generation Project

Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited has undertaken the general contract of waste heat power generation for two cement companies in Vietnam, SG and VCM, under SCG Cement Group. This is another cooperation between Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited and Thailand SCG Cement Group in the field of waste heat power generation, and also another important order for Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited in Vietnam market. The total installed capacity of the two waste heat power station projects is 17.5MW, which is able to save 119.41 million kWh of electricity, 42,000 tons of coal and 98,000 tons of carbon per year. It not only brings considerable economic benefits to the enterprise, but also strongly promotes the transformation of local enterprises to green and low-carbon production methods, and contributes to the realization of efficient and environmentally friendly industrial production and energy utilization in the local area.
Haiphong Cement Waste Heat Power Generation Project

In February 2025, Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited successfully signed a general contract for the engineering of waste heat power generation project with Hai Phong Cement Company Limited, a subsidiary of Vietnam Industrial Cement Group. Hai Phong Cement Plant is an important cement producer in Vietnam and even in Southeast Asia, with the first cement production line in Vietnam. The Waste Heat Power Generation Project is not only an important comprehensive energy utilization project, but also a key initiative to promote local green development and energy saving and emission reduction in response to Vietnam's national policy of zero carbon emission in 2050. The successful signing of this project not only marks a substantial step in the cooperation between Sinoma Energy Conservation Limited and Vietnam Industrial Cement Group, but also is another witness of the “Belt and Road” construction between China and Vietnam.
